Group Facilitators (Part-Time)
August – May | Baltimore, MD

Playful Minds Therapy is seeking clinicians who are passionate about working with children through play, creativity, and culturally affirming care.

We are a practice rooted in African-Centered Play Therapy™, committed to creating spaces where children are affirmed, expressive, and supported. We value the well-being of both the children we serve and the clinicians who support them.

About the Role

This position is primarily focused on facilitating therapeutic groups for children, with the opportunity to build an individual caseload if desired.

Schedule:

  • Wednesdays & Thursdays, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • Groups run August – May

  • Onboarding begins early August

What We Offer:

  • $50/hour for group facilitation

  • Paid training (including compensated training hours + stipend)

  • Play Therapy & Board-Approved Social Work Supervision

We Are Looking For Clinicians Who:

  • Are passionate about working with children and families

  • Are open to or experienced in African-Centered practices and ATR

  • Believe children have voices and autonomy regardless of age

  • Are committed to continuous learning and self-reflection

  • Can creatively engage children through play and expressive approaches

  • Are comfortable collaborating with families, schools, and community

Qualifications

  • Licensed in the state of Maryland (LCSW-C, LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, LGPC)

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field

  • Experience working with children

  • Availability during after-school hours (Wednesdays & Thursdays required)
